"Living Streets", a campaign group advocating better facilities for all those who use pavements and public spaces. Poorly maintained pavements are a hazard to all especially those with mobility problems. Advice given to anyone in Berkshire wishing to complain to local authorities or start a local group.

Make-A-Wish grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. The charity was founded in the UK in 1986 and, since then, we have granted over 4,200 wishes. Shaw Trust is a national charity that provides training and work opportunities for people who are disadvantaged in the labour market due to disability, ill health or other social circumstances. We are the largest UK provider of employment services for disabled people.
Starlight Children's Foundation brightens the lives of seriously and terminally ill children by granting their wishes and providing hospital entertainment to help take their minds off the pain, fear and isolation of their illness
The Leonard Cheshire Foundation provides care for people with physical, learning disabilities, mental health problems and support for their carers. Services: residential and nursing accommodation; day care; care at home; respite care; independent living; semi-independent living; hotel; rehabilitation for people with head injuries; holiday breaks/exchanges.
